Rizpah Bellard
Raised in Guinda, CA, Rizpah Bellard is a graduate of Cornell University and a trailblazer in the realms of agriculture and agriculture education. With a strong commitment to fostering regional and international agricultural opportunities, Rizpah created Nova Farming to address societal gaps in food production and to promote careers in the agriculture industry. As the President of Nova Farming, Rizpah has made significant strides in the agriculture sector by successfully selling high-quality, all-natural beef to Kern County School Districts and the Central California Food Bank, achieving over $2.5 million in sales in 2025 alone. Rizpah is also passionate about agriculture education. Through her innovative K-12 curriculum aligned with California’s Next Generation Science Standards, Rizpah introduces young learners to the fundamentals of agriculture by utilizing real livestock. She teaches students about vital topics such as shearing, ruminant digestive systems, and the food supply chain. Her hands-on teaching approach inspires the next generation to explore careers in agriculture and understand its global significance. Rizpah’s commitment to the agricultural sector continues to expand as she seeks to create innovative opportunities that enhance food security, promote education, and inspire future leaders in agriculture on both local and international stages.
