Land Trusts as Leaders in Agricultural and Community Resilience
Brendan Boepple, Director of Conservation and other staff from the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) will present on how land trusts are utilizing conservation easements as a tool for long-term land stewardship in rural communities, restoring working lands, and helping to make land more accessible for a new generation of farmers and ranchers. This presentation will introduce you to CCALT’s unique conservation model that puts farm and ranch families first, which includes an innovative Additive Conservation Program. Case studies will highlight how CCALT works with communities to support agricultural and community resilience.
